TREATMENTS

​Traditional Abhyanga

• This is not a massage. This treatment is a deeply healing, dosha-balancing application of herbal medicated oils onto the entire body. It works with prana (life force) and results in the opening and cleansing of the srotas (body channels). As the body absorbs the oil, healing is brought to each cell of the body, the vagus nerve and clarity occurs in the mind. The goal of this treatment is to balance the doshas, hence ensuring that disease does not enter the body and that we move away from the causes of our suffering. Organic and authentic  handmade dosha balancing oils are chosen based on your Doshic makeup.  Included in this treatment is a full body Svedana, Nasyum  (see description below), and a shower with Ayurvedic cleansing soap to clear toxins that are  released during the Abhyanga.
• An authentic Ayurvedic full body Svedana    is an herbal steam consisting of the application of medicated oils and heat. The body is comfortably placed in a traditional Svedana wooden box with the head kept outside. Svedana is  performed after an Abhyanga treatment to allow the oils to move deeper into the body and any    toxins in the body to be released.

Svedana   (Localized Application)

• This localized application assists the body in healing any injury of the muscle, ligament, joint, or bone. Deeply healing treatment for both current and past injuries. In this treatment  medicated oils, herbs  and heat are used to shift the out-of-balance Vata within the body, which in turn instigates the body to heal itself. 
  • $155  - 1 hour (3 sessions recommended)

Nasyum

• Nasyum is the application of medicated oils for any head, nose, or sinus issue. A very deeply healing treatment,  it  boosts the immune system and specifically assists with asthma, colds, flu and  latent bacteria in the mucus membranes. Nasyum improves eyesight, hearing, chronic congestion, tinnitus, and allergies. It helps shift  any imbalances in the head, nose, and sinus areas, These treatments also help clear  the third eye and bring  clarity to the mind.
  • $75 for 30 minutes

Basti

• The external or internal application of heated oils onto the body in a specific area of injury. The warm oil is allowed to sit for a determined length of time while being deeply absorbed by the body. Basti, being both Vata and Pitta balancing, assists with injuries of the back, neck and knees.

Shirodhara

• Warm oil gently flows continuously across the forehead while directly and immediately calming, relaxing, and cleansing the mind and nerves. The body is deeply settled and the protective nervous system is disarmed. In this deep stillness, the nervous system releases any stress or strain that inhibits the flow of stillness into every cell of the body. A balancing treatment for Vata related issues. Very beneficial for imbalances of the mind, including stress, anxiety, depression, and many other psychosomatic issues. ​*  These treatments are only offered at certain times of the year.

• The best way to make a change in your life. Includes six  Dosha balancing Abhyanga treatments with Svedana, Nasyum and  Ayurvedic herbal formula.   Best if combined with an Ayurvedic diet cleanse prior to PK.  Other Treatments and formulas added as needed and not included.

3 Day Panchakarma    -   3 day intensive

• A good  way to cleanse and re-balance through life and seasonal changes as well as a good introduction into the healing affects of Ayurveda. Includes three dosha balancing Abhyanga treatments with Svedana and  Nasyum.   Best if combined with an Ayurvedic diet cleanse prior to PK.
