What is Raja Yoga?
Raja is the Sanskrit word for "king" or "royal", which translates in English to "royal yoga".
Raja yoga is viewed as the supreme or "royal path" to attaining a state of unity between the mind, body and spirit.
It is explained in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras and brought to the modern world through Sri Tirumalai Krishnamacharya, considered the "father" of modern yoga.
Dr. Strahl first studied Raja Yoga in India in 2006 with Krishnamacharya's Senior Teachers, D V Sridhar, Radha Sridhar and Viji Vasu. She continues her studies to this day to deepen her understanding of this ancient Yoga practice.
